Chicago: Huge warm-up expected today. A mostly sunny start and winds pick up from the SW gusting well in excess of 20 m.p.h. Clouds increase during the afternoon, the amount of which will determine to a large extent whether or not temperatures approach 60(degrees)–some 30(degrees) above normal for this date. A good chance of rain later tonight.

HIGH: 57

LOW: 41

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
