For more than a year, a battle has escalated between two of Interscope Records’ highest-selling artists, 50 Cent and the Game. Now, the release of the Game’s DVD documentary “Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin” has been canceled, the L.A. Times reports, and some blame pressure from Interscope, though the label is keeping quiet.
The Times describes the film as a mean-spirited hip-hop travelogue, following the Game (above) from the West Coast to the East Coast as he searches for his nemesis. He interviews people on the street, who invariably dis Fifty, and he rents a billboard in Queens emblazoned with “G-Unot!”
So is this real or just a marketing ploy? Stay tuned.
