Thank you for printing the numerous responses from “we the people” in your Sunday Perspective. Many of your respondents had some great ideas for putting forth a new agenda or contract for our country. In fact, I would encourage some of the writers to run for public office.
Unfortunately, if they’re not wealthy or well-connected to powerful corporations and lobbyists, they won’t be able to afford to campaign.
