“A way to fight terrorism and protect rights,” by letter writer Alan Novick (Voice of the people, Jan. 15), gave us the solution.
I, too, am not a fan of President Bush, but why should we embellish terrorists’ rights when it’s a detriment to us?
As Novick states, the 4th Amendment should not apply to terrorists but still protect non-terrorists from prosecution.
All it would take is for our legislators to make an adjustment to the Constitution.
How simple is that?
The controversy would be over.
