BULLS, WOLVES AND CARD SHARKS took over the Palmer House at a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament to raise funds for the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Midwest Chapter. WXRT-FM’s Lin Brehmer proved to be the real deal, beating fellow celebrity players, including the sweetest security guard you would ever want to have wrestle you to the floor–Steve Wilkos, from “The Jerry Springer Show.”
MORE TABLE TALK:
ALL OUT: “I’m all in and in trouble,” said Stephen Baby, of the Chicago Wolves, who was soon all out of chips.
EARLY OUT: Bulls guard Chris Duhon was quickly stripped of $2,500 in chips. “I watch [poker] when nothing else is on TV,” he said.
Can’t wait to see what Starlight does with their “Dream Date Auction” fundraiser in February at the Park West.
