The world has a million little questions for James Frey.
And who better to ask them than Oprah? She’s probably got a few herself.
Frey’s now-disputed memoir, “A Million Little Pieces,” soared to the top of the non-fiction charts on the wings of Oprah’s endorsement.
The Smoking Gun’s report that Frey embellished some of the material in his book lit a firestorm of controversy, with readers and writers defending and deriding him.
Oprah supported him in a call to CNN’s “Larry King Live” when Frey appeared on the show. But now he’ll have to face her in person.
Frey will appear Thursday on a live broadcast of Oprah’s show, along with his publisher, according to a statement from Harpo Productions. Stay tuned.
