Chicago police are asking shop owners in the Lincoln Avenue police district to be especially alert and make sure security cameras are in working order after as many as seven robberies. The robberies occurred in an area bounded by West Bryn Mawr Avenue, North Sheridan Road, North Damen Avenue and West Lawrence Avenue, police said. Police believe different offenders have committed the seven robberies.
