Historical swordplay
The Chicago Swordplay Guild offers anyone introductory swordplay classes.
Intro to longsword; intro to rapier
Where: Pulaski Park, 1419 W. Blackhawk St., Chicago
When: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays through March 25.
How much: $100 for residents; $200, non-residents.
Introduction to longsword
Where: Longfellow Center, 715 Highland Ave., Oak Park
When: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through April 4.
How much: $123 for residents; $185, non-residents. Also, $10 equipment fee.
