Labor leader to deliver free lecture
The 7th Annual Distinguished Labor Leader Lecture is taking place Tuesday at Chicago-Kent College of Law, 565 W. Adams St.
The keynote will be delivered by Terence M. O’Sullivan, general president, Laborers’ International Union of North America.
In addition to heading the 800,000-member union since Jan. 1, 2000, O’Sullivan is chairman and CEO of ULLICO, a union-owned provider of insurance, investment, financial and administrative products.
The lecture, which is presented as a public service by the Chicago Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and Chicago Kent College of Law, begins at noon, followed by a reception at 1 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
