Growing role of nanotechnology
“The Next Little Thing: Nano, Business and Society in the 21st Century,” a conference sponsored by the Canadian Consulate General, the Global Law and Policy Initiative at Illinois Institute of Technology, and the Center on Nanotechnology and Society at IIT, will be held Thursday.
The keynote address will be delivered by Aatish Salvi, vice president of NanoBusiness Alliance.
Panels will focus on strategies for building high-tech cross-border partnerships; nano-specific legal and regulatory developments; and ethical and societal considerations for adopting nanotechnology.
The free event will take place from noon to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Chicago-Kent College of Law, 565 W. Adams St.
