Chicago: Windy and turning sharply colder. Rain ends early in the morning, but clouds and a few showers linger. Readings fall through the 40s during the day as stiff southwest winds turn west and increase, gusting past 30 m.p.h. Much colder overnight with flurries and continued blustery west winds.
