The National Highway Traffic Safety administration is upgrading its investigation into air-bag flaws in 2005-06 Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans. Water can seep into the bags, harming a sensor, so the bags can deploy late or not at all. Such probes can lead to recalls.
