Catherine Fahey, 97, of Peoria, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL died at 5:52 a.m. Sunday, March 19, 2006 at OSF St. Clare Home in Peoria Heights. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 28, 1909. She was a long-time member of the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club where she held many elected offices; Catholic Daughters of America and the Union League Club of Chicago. She served as a Judge of Election for DuPage County for over 30 years. She was preceded in death of her late husband Edward J. Fahey; two brothers and two sisters. She was the loving mother of Margaret Hult of Largo, FL, Edward Fahey Jr. (Charlotte) of Bedford, NH, Robert (Anne) Fahey of Peoria, IL and Susan Wagner of Naperville, IL; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and a nephew. Funeral Mass will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Peoria. Interment in the Chapel at Queen of Heaven in Hillside, IL.
