Congratulations to County Clerk David Orr and the Cook County clerk’s office for introducing 20th Century technology into our 21st Century elections. But, I do sincerely hope that secure touch-screen technology becomes the standard for our future elections.
I also hope that we can soon say good-bye to voting Democratic-only or Republican-only in primary elections. Give the voters the choice to do one or both. Why shouldn’t I get to choose the best candidates on both sides?
