The Wolves used a five-goal second period, four coming in 1 minute 59 seconds, to defeat the San Antonio Rampage 7-3 Wednesday night at the Allstate Arena.

The Wolves, who have won five straight, returned to the .500 mark (30-30-3-8) for the first time since Jan. 20 and moved within six points of the fourth and final playoff spot in the AHL’s West Division.

Right wing Francis Lessard scored his first two goals of the season during the Wolves’ second-period onslaught.
