Thomas O. Mita, age 86, formerly of Skokie, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Snohomish, WA. Beloved husband of that late Patricia D., nee Honda; dear father of Jeanne (Bill) Steffener of Snohomish, WA, Robert (Jan) of Skokie, Nora (Robert) Tanaka of Glenview, Gerald (Lisa) of Santa Clarita, CA, and the late Neal; loving grandfather of Kathryn (Dave) Allison, Will and Justin Steffener, Brandon, Scott and Lane Mita, Amy, Vikki and Keith Tanaka, Kristen and Taylor Mita; cherished great-grandfather of Cooper Allison; fond brother of James and the late George. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 7, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, Skokie. Urn Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Chicago.
