The Marengo Woman’s Club is seeking applications for a $500 Re-Entry Scholarship for adult women through May 5. The applicant must be 21, reside in School District 154 and be registered for a minimum of six undergraduate credits or five graduate credits for the fall semester. Applications are available in the financial aid offices of McHenry County College and Northern Illinois University.

The McHenry County Conservation District is seeking applicants for a $500 Smith Engineering Conservation Scholarship, which will be awarded to a college or university undergraduate studying in such fields as parks and recreation, forestry, environmental education and environmental design. Required is a 500-word essay explaining the ways students want to contribute to conservation.
