Kudos to the author of “Driver communication” (Voice of the people, April 25), letter writer Linda Shore. I, too, have wondered when it became de rigueur to eschew employing what we older people used to call “the indicator” when driving.
Does anyone remember a time when failing to signal was a moving violation that could result in a traffic ticket?
Those were the days.
