Americans are not angry at the oil companies for earning a profit, but we are livid that they are making record, or near record, and obscenely high profits. A hundred years ago, America had a president who stood up to corporations, busted up monopolies and supported the American worker. Today Americans need Theodore Roosevelt more than ever. I sure hope we find someone with his qualities in 2008.
