Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
When I saw the headlines in Friday’s Tribune previewing the White Sox’s next 13 games, “Bit of calm before the storm” (in print) and “Rainout gives Sox rest before tough stretch” (online), I wondered whom they were facing. Red Sox? Yankees? Detroit? Nope, it’s the Twins, Devil Rays, A’s and Cubs.
That’s a “tough stretch?” There’s not a single team above .500 in the bunch, their combined record is 61-76, and we all know how the Cubs have been doing lately.
