I recently had occasion to travel from my home in Willowbrook to a destination on Randall Road, just west of Carpentersville, a distance of 42 miles.
I decided to drive the speed limit and set the cruise control at 55 miles per hour.
Mine was the only car traveling at that speed both going and coming, and several times I was almost blown off the road by 18-wheelers.
