Women’s entrepreneurial expo
The College of DuPage is presenting The Women’s Entrepreneurial Conference and Expo from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday at the College of DuPage’s Student Resource Center, Jack H. Turner Conference Center, Room 2800.
Maureen O’Brien will deliver the keynote address and Catherine M. Coughlin will give the opening remarks.
O’Brien is the CEO and founder of O’Brien & Son Consulting Inc., a facilitator of motivational programs, and owner and founder of O’Brien & Son Inc., an exterior remodeling company.
Coughlin was appointed president and CEO of AT&T Midwest in June 2005. She oversees more than 32,000 employees throughout Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Some of the breakout sessions will cover professional image as a powerful asset, financing a start-up business, government contracting, time management skills, controlling debt, motivating employees, taking your business global and the basics of online business.
