– Dick Kay, the longest-serving reporter in the history of WMAQ-Ch. 5 news, is set to retire Wednesday. Kay has been at the NBC station for 38 years, serving as its political editor for the last 25.
– Michael Jackson plans to make his first public appearance since his trial acquittal last June at a ceremony Saturday in Tokyo, his spokesman said Thursday. Jackson’s participation in MTV Japan’s “Legend Award” ceremony will launch an Asian tour.
– “Dallas” actress Victoria Principal is divorcing her husband of nearly 21 years, Beverly Hills, Calif., plastic surgeon Harry Glassman, People magazine reported on its Web site.
