It seems that a short-term solution to immigrants’ health-care costs would be a law allowing health-care facilities to bill the country of origin for an immigrant’s health care.

Because Mexican guest-workers’ health-care costs to America are expensive, why not allow Los Angeles County Hospital, for example, the right to bill Mexico for medical and surgical charges?

Mexico, which has more proven oil reserves than the U.S., could easily pay for treating minor sprained ankles to expensive surgical operations with the proceeds from its government-owned oil company, Pemex.
