25-23, 20-25, 25-23 Eagles (30-6) saved by quick lead in third match: senior setter Tim Cunningham had 37 asts and 5 kills, Nathan Klaas had 8 kills and 4 blks, Steve Chmura had 14 kills and Dave Weber added 12 digs.

25-20, 25-15 David Pociask had 6 kills, 4 blks, 4 digs to lead Huskies (34-3). Scott Anerino added 5 kills, 2 blks, 2 digs and Carthage College-bound Eric Ball had 5 kills, 1 blk, 2 digs. Huskies go up against Benet on Tuesday.

25-22, 23-25, 26-24 John Bortoli had 7 pts and 40 asts to lead Griffins (33-4). Kyle Klaver contributed 14 kills, 6 pts, 9 digs.

25-20, 12-25, 25-21 Dimitry Voronov led Stevenson (32-5) with 34 asts, 12 digs. Other leaders were Alex Lewis (15 kills, 7 digs, 3 blks). Patriots play against Buffalo Grove in sectional final.

25-15, 24-26, 25-15 Senior outside hitter Rob Brannigan had 12 kills, 2 service aces for Crusaders (31-7). Other leaders included Brendan Ori (8 kills) and Matt Gallik (6 kills). Setter Josh Scaletta had 29 asts.

25-16, 25-8 Tom Angerame was 25-for-25 setting and picked up 11 asts for Bison (28-5). Mike Will had 7 kills, 6 digs, and 4 aces.
Lyons
d. Morton
25-16, 25-13 Mike Konrad, Pat Kilrea, and Mike Harrison led the charge for Lyons (31-6), but coach Joann Pyritz pointed out that “the contributions of every player on our team made the difference,” adding, “We played error-free.”

25-13, 20-25, 25-15 Spartans (32-5) were led by Mark Reding (27 asts, 8 digs), Ted Schoenfeldt (13 kills), Daniel Dorfman (2 aces, 7 digs). Spartans meet Maine South for sectional final on Tuesday.

25-23, 25-13 Mario Jez had 12 kills, 2 blks, 2 aces, 5 digs for Rams (29-8). Junior Andy Krause made 17 asts.
