Chicago: Some sun early, but clouds gradually increase and thicken during the day. Gusty south winds will push temperatures into the 80s, and highs could reach 90(degrees)–depending on how fast clouds gather. Showers and thunderstorms may develop later in the afternoon and continue overnight.

HIGH: 90

LOW: 67

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
