Mitchell Clayton Smith, age 52, of Hoffman Estates, beloved husband of Shahana Smith, nee Ahmed, whom he married in 1987; loving brother of Brad Smith; dear son of Kenneth and Marjorie Smith; dear son-in-law of ex-president of Bangladesh, Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed and Anwara Ahmed. Born in Kansas City, MO on Jan. 3, 1954, he passed away May 30, 2006 in Hoffman Estates. Mitch was part owner of ADS Architects in Hoffman Estates. He enjoyed scuba diving, underwater photography and gardening. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd., 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg.
