Douglas W. Kmiec makes one of the most absurd arguments yet against gay marriage, basically imploring, “Won’t somebody think of the poor little churches?” It is ludicrous to suggest that we continue to discriminate against homosexuals because of the possibility that doing otherwise could result in inconveniences for organizations whose members choose to wallow in a mire of moral and intellectual stagnation.
