Cubs management has perfected the philosophy of “there’s a sucker born every minute” with “there are millions of suckers born ever season.” This year’s team is exceptionally bad, even by Cubs’ standards. Yet the foolish fans continue to pour money into Cubs’ coffers. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, because the tunnel is blocked by the piles of money Cubs fans continually spend on bad baseball teams.
