Anna Schmidt, nee Ridder, age 94, a resident of Lombard, IL, formerly of Cicero and Naperville, IL, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, at ManorCare Nursing Home, Naperville, IL. She was born July 12, 1911, in Chicago, IL. Loving wife of the late Joseph Schmidt; beloved mother of Joan A. LeFavor and Joseph Schmidt; adored grandmother of Michelle (Richard) Bliss, Donna Zielinski and James (Jennifer) LeFavor; cherished great-grandmother of Ryan (Summer), Ashley, Robert, Cayla, Kyle, Colleen and Thomas; proud great-great-grandmother of Kaylee; devoted daughter of the late Henry and Grace Ridder; dear sister of Rose (Norman) Evenhuis; and six deceased siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was retired after 20 years with Western Electric Co., Cicero. Visitation Monday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL.
