A. Peter Draffone, 78, of Terre Haute died Sunday morning, June 4, 2006 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was retired from the McDonalds Corporation as the Staff Director for International Purchasing. He was born January 19, 1928 in Boston, MA to Americo D. Draffone and Dorothy P. Brook Draffone. Survivors include his wife, Norma Allenbaugh Draffone; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Charlton Stoner of Miami Beach, FL; a son, Richard Draffone of Carol Stream, IL; three grandchildren, Terry Wayne McCammon and his wife, Carrie, of Terre Haute, Erik Draffone of Carol Stream, IL and Nelli Rose Stoner of Miami Beach, FL; a great-granddaughter, Cassidy McCammon of Terre Haute; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Corinne Draffone of East Weymouth, MA; a brother-in-law, Carroll Greiner of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lawrence Richard Draffone; step-daughter, Becky McCammon; daughter-in-law, Jan Draffone; and two sisters-in-law, Arlene Lower and Ruth Greiner. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Monte Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with military graveside honors provided by VFW Post #972.
