William J. Hall, 52, professional musician (bass), performed in various venues throughout Chicago and the country for 35 years, died unexpectedly at the end of May at his home in Batavia. Cherished son of Catherine and the late William P. Hall; beloved brother of Mary Beth (George), Kathleen, and John (Julie); former spouse of Peggy Doherty; dear uncle to Devin, Bridget, John, Sam and Emma; great-uncle to Katie. His talents and humor will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service and celebration of Bill’s life is being planned. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois, 773-281-5058.
