Viewers might be getting tired of Donald Trump, but he’s not going to let a little thing like ratings slow him down.
The Donald has his sights on a TV monopoly–actually, a televised version of the Monopoly game. According to Variety, Trump’s proposed series would be based on real estate: Contestants would acquire run-down properties and fix them up to maximize their value.
While no venue has been announced, Variety said, The Donald owns several properties in Atlantic City, whose street names inspired Monopoly’s properties.
The timing of the new show would be perfect if the business mogul decides to jump ship from “The Apprentice.” Monday’s finale drew only 11.2 million viewers, compared with 28 million during the first season’s climax.
“Season 1 was a phenomenon,” Trump said. “Every show goes down, no matter how successful.”
