– Robert De Niro has donated his collection of film-related materials–scripts, costumes and correspondence–to the cultural archive at the University of Texas’ Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center. Highlights include a full body cast used in 1994’s “Frankenstein.”

– A former manager for Ashanti is suing the R&B singer in Manhattan federal court seeking millions of dollars in damages for alleged breach of contract, the BBC reported Wednesday. Linda Berk said she helped make Ashanti a “music and entertainment superstar” before her contract ended in 2003. An Ashanti rep, however, said: “The contract expired naturally and we didn’t renew it.”

– Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards agreed Wednesday to extend a temporary restraining order in L.A. requiring the actor to stay away from his estranged wife.
