Edith Naselli-Carpenter, of Fox Lake, formerly of Oak Park, beloved wife of Gerard Carpenter; loving mother of Sandra Sato, Roberta (Eugene) Stahnke, Cheryl Lewis, and Gregory (Sarah) Reposh; fond grandmother of Buddy and Jason Stahnke, Mark and Erica Sato, and Nina and Ethan Reposh; dear sister of Geraldine Timmer and the late Jacqueline Van Orman and George Naselli. Edith worked for 22 years in the Planning Department of the Village of Oak Park. She was an advocate of women’s rights, held many offices in West Suburban NOW and was active in local and national politics. Many of her editorials were printed in local newspapers. She also wrote poems and short stories. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Entombment Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to West Suburban NOW, P.O.
