Milan Ceko, age 76, of Lansing, IL, passed away June 3, 2006, beloved husband of Svetlana “Lana”; loving father of Katarina (Peter) Cokic, Mimi (Brian) Kohn and Pete (Lisa) Ceko; and dear grandfather of Natalie Cokic, Chanel and Blake Kohn and Peter Alexander and Nicholas Ceko. He was employed as a foreman with Republic Steel for 31 years. Milan was a member of St. Simeon Mirotocivi Church. He belonged to Cetnik Organization Draza Mihailovich, which he was a radio announcer for many years and served on the board of Narodna Odbrana. Private funeral and interment were held Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Monastery and Cemetery, Very Rev. Luka Lukic officiated.
