Simple. Infectious. Two adjectives that sum up this debut from Yung Joc, the latest contender in Atlanta’s heavyweight hip-hop scene. “I’m Him” and “Hear Me Coming,” two of the better singles on this chant-heavy CD, have a fury very much like T.I.’s. The lone slow track, “1st Time,” references so many hit Southern tunes–“I’m Da Man” (D4L), “Body Rock” (Killer Mike) and “Be Easy” (T.I.)–you’d think Yung Joc was reading from a Billboard chart.
