I am writing in response to Sam Dickey’s letter.
He wrote about bicyclists routinely breaking traffic laws and declared that he sees no reason anyone should share the road with bicyclists.
Whether he notices them or not, there are bicyclists who are respectful of drivers, pedestrians and traffic laws (I am one). I agree that more cyclists should ride respectfully, but the problem will not be solved by Dickey’s version of the Golden Rule: “Don’t do unto others UNTIL they have done unto you!”
