Ethel Gartenberg, 81, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Skokie, IL. Beloved mother of Art Gartenberg and Janice Royalty; grandmother of Jasmine Royalty. Retired teacher for the Chicago Board of Education and a friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2006. A grave site memorial service will take place on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Jewish Waldheim Cemetery, 1700 S. Harlem, North Riverside, IL 60546. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the MAPC Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center, 350 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85013.
