Sheldon Charles Kaplan, 77, of Bloomingdale, IL, died Saturday, February 25, 2006. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 6th, 1928, son of the late Leo Louis and Ruth Birnbaum Kaplan. Sheldon is survived by his wife, Betty Stein Kaplan of Bloomingdale, IL; sons, Leo (Debbi) Kaplan of Seattle, WA, Steven (Cynthia) Kaplan of Nashville, TN; daughter, Deborah Kaplan of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Bryan Kaplan of Kansas City, MO, Richard Krause of Seattle, WA, Kelli and Travis Paddock of Seattle, WA, Tara Kaplan of Los Angeles, CA, Stewart Kaplan of Kansas City, MO, Kelly Kaplan of Nashville, TN, Craig and Margo Kaplan of Houston, TX, Lacy Kaplan of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren, Austin and Cody Paddock of Seattle, WA, Lauren Kaplan of Austin, TX. A memorial service and dedication are set for 10:30 a.m., Sunday, June 18, 2006. These will be held graveside at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL.
