How can it be that in a world of war, terrorism, murder, rape, drive-by shootings, carjackings, kidnapping, theft, corporate fraud and tax evasion, child abuse and a general neglect of the Golden Rule we were trying to legislate away love? Whatever form love takes, it should be accepted, embraced and encouraged. Politicians (even those as inept as President Bush) need to stay out of our hearts unless someone is being harmed. The Constitution should not be used as a political tool.
By the way, I am a heterosexual who believes in live and let love.
