Free forum on economic outlook
Diane Swonk, chief economist and senior managing director of Mesirow Financial, will be the speaker at the annual Real Estate Forum hosted by Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP’s Real Estate and Environmental Department.
The forum, “Rates, Risk and Returns: The Economic Outlook for 2006 and Beyond,” will begin with a 5 p.m. reception on Wednesday followed by a 6 p.m. presentation by Swonk at Gardner Carton & Douglas, 191 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 3700.
Swonk will present her findings on the future of speculation, interest rates, underwriting criteria and the slowdown in appreciation and their impact on commercial, industrial, retail and multifamily real estate.
Property owners, developers and asset managers are invited to attend the free forum.
