Eileen Veronica Kleinwachter, born August 9, 1920, passed away June 7, 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen Kleinwachter, 85, of Vacaville, CA, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Vacaville, CA. Father Michael McFadden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home. Eileen was born August 9, 1920 in Illinois to John and Florence Devaney. Eileen was loving, selfless and devoted to her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. In her spare time she liked to crochet, work on crossword puzzles and was always up for a game of Yahtzee. She also enjoyed supporting her favorite baseball team the Atlanta Braves. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be missed by daughters, Carol (Jim) Schacht of Illinois, Mary Kleinwachter of Vacaville, CA, Paula (Richard) Cummings of Fairfield, CA, Lynda Kleinwachter of Vacaville, CA, Carla (Richard) Bednarsky of Ohio and Laura (Ves) Cash of Alaska; sisters, Florence Beier, Dolores (Bob) Bigelow; sister-in-law, Loretta Devaney all of Illinois; 12 grandchildren, Susan, Justina, Ed, Max, Andy, Debbie, Chris, Eric, Michael, Jennifer, Derek and Danielle; eight great-grandchildren, Victoria, Catherine, Emma, Jamie, Hannah, Meghan, Zachary and Amanda; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Max, in 1971; brothers John Devaney, Jim Devaney and Bill Devaney; sisters, Donna Esposito and Geraldine Mederich; cousin, Lillian Gilbert; and great-grandson, Luke Plowman.
