Pastor Richard E. Simon, beloved husband of the late Ruth Ellen; loving father of Richard B., Timothy (Judy), Stephen (Cindy), Rebecca (Carl) Rhodes, Elizabeth (James) Pritchard and Amy (Bruce) Buckley; survived by 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Rudolph, Robert and Carl. Visitation Tuesday, June 13, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th St., Palos Heights.
