Ben L. Odelson, age 93, Veterans of WWII Army AirCorps- 13th Airborn Division, beloved husband of the late Bernice, nee Bernstein; loving father of Burton (Patti) Odelson and Larry (Susan) Odelson; zayde of Brian, Jill, Josh, Courtney and Duston; great-zayde of Abigail and Lucy; cherished son of Sam and Rose, nee Gorden; fond brother of Irving, Belle Epstein and Sidney and the late Harry, Jack, Oscar, Mike, Joe, Roy, Julius, Ida Berz and Ann Kaplan. He served his country overseas with his seven brothers in the US Army. He was a staff sergeant who was awarded three bronze star medals for meritorious service. He was a member of Jewish War Veterans, Bnai Brith, the Elks Club in Alsip and a counselor of AZA. He will be missed by Las Vegas. Funeral Services Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Piser Chapel, 9200 N.
