Richard E. “Dick” Pfennig, age 66, of Butler Twp., died Monday, June 12, 2006. He was Past President and CEO of PSA Airlines and Midway Commuter Airlines, as well as Air Florida Airlines, and various officer positions with Continental and Midway Airlines. He currently was serving on the Board of Directors of Dayton’s US Air and Trade Show and was also a member of the 2003 Inventing Flight Ceremony. Survived by his wife Sandra, nee Ahlert; two daughters, Patricia Lynn Jordan and husband, Tim of Sugar Grove, IL and Julie Ann Peter and husband, Gil of Parkland, FL; son, Richard E. Pfennig III and his wife, Lisa of Yorkville, IL; nine grandchildren; one sister, Cynthia S. Cross of Wheaton, IL; two nephews, Jimmy and Terry Willits. Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday (TODAY) at Shiloh Church, 5300 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton, OH, 45415. Services Saturday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at Mount Emblem Cemetery, 600 E. Grand Ave., Elmhurst, IL, Rev. Jock Ficken officiating. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of Services at the cemetery.
