I think Bob Westhoff completely misses the point. The words used by Garrison Keillor referred to Republicans’ and President Bush’s behavior, choices and policies. Keillor isn’t just calling them names because he doesn’t like them; he is assessing their performance and, quite frankly, their performance has been inept and utterly incompentent.
Garrison’s behavior is different from the current behavior of Republicans when they attack the messenger instead of discussing the issues and policies that people are bringing up.
