The Miami Heat surround the Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki in the second quarter Thursday as the Heat tied the NBA Finals 2-2 with a resounding 98-74 win in Miami. Nowitzki turned his ankle in the second half and finished with just 16 points, while Miami’s Dwyane Wade (36 points) and big buddy Shaquille O’Neal (17 points, 13 rebounds) helped the Heat even the series in front of a roaring crowd that included Sammy Sosa. Wade played on a tender knee one game after an amazing 42-point performance in Game 3. Game 5 is Sunday at Miami (8 p.m., WLS-Ch. 7).
