This is regarding “Chicago’s master plan; Don’t drive, just bike; City peddling new proposal for 500-mile network of paths to be finished by 2015” (Page 1, June 11).
All the bike lanes and paint in the world aren’t going to make cycling in the city any less lethal until traffic laws are taken seriously by the Chicago Police Department and road maintenance is taken seriously by the Department of Transportation.
