Walter J. Prusko, of Palatine, formerly of Chicago. Visitation for Walter J. Prusko, 86, will be Tuesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Tohle Funeral Home, 4325 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside, Chicago, IL. Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL. Born on Febuaray 20, 1920 in Chicago, he passed away peacefully in his sleep on Father’s Day, June 18, 2006 at the Plum Grove Nursing Home in Palatine, IL. Walter was a member of the S.E.I.U. Local #34, a retired window washer of 50 years. Servied in the National Guard and US Army during World War II. Member of Greenview Ave. Jolly Rogers Club and everyone’s polka dancing partner. Survivors include his wife, of 63 years, Estelle, nee Wodzinski; his daughters, Charmaine (Ken) Zuchel, Camille (Gordon) Hjelm, Christine (Bob) Clark; and son, Walter (Cheryl) Prusko; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Estella (Frank) Passananti, Josephine (the late Gus and Dan O’Connell) Pekara; brother, Frank (Judy) Klimas; and many nieces and nephews.
